Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) Policy
Last updated: May 2026
KiS Advisory is committed to treating all clients fairly at all times. This policy sets out our approach to the Financial Conduct Authority's Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principle, and how we embed fair treatment of clients into everything we do.
1. Our Commitment to Fairness
Although KiS Advisory is not FCA authorised, we uphold the spirit of TCF principles as a matter of professional standards and ethical business conduct. We are committed to ensuring that:
- Clients can be confident that fair treatment is central to our business culture
- Our services are designed and delivered to meet the needs of the clients we work with
- Clients are provided with clear, accurate, and timely information at all stages of their engagement with us
- Advice and recommendations are suitable for the individual client's circumstances
- Clients do not face unreasonable post-sale barriers when they wish to change, switch, or make a complaint
2. Clear Communication
We are committed to communicating with clients in a clear, transparent, and honest manner. We will always explain what we can and cannot do, the basis on which we operate (consultancy, not regulated advice), and any limitations on our services before engagement begins.
3. Suitability
We take time to understand each client's specific situation, needs, and objectives before providing recommendations or support. We will only recommend courses of action that we genuinely believe are appropriate and in the client's best interest given the information available to us.
4. No Conflicts of Interest
We take steps to identify and manage any potential conflicts of interest that may arise in our work. We will always disclose any material interests or connections that could affect the objectivity of our advice.
5. Accessibility
We aim to make our services accessible to a diverse range of business clients. If you have particular needs or require information in a different format, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your requirements.
6. Complaints
If you feel we have not treated you fairly, we encourage you to raise this with us. Please refer to our Complaints Policy for details on how to make a complaint and what you can expect from us in response.
7. Review
We periodically review this policy to ensure it remains current and reflects our ongoing commitment to fair treatment of clients. Any significant changes will be communicated to active clients.
